How do I RSVP?

The option to RSVP will be available after you receive your formal invitation this Spring.

How do I get to your wedding venue?

Château Comtesse Lafond is located on the Avenue de Champagne, near the center of Épernay. Taxis, Uber and driving are all options. We recommend that you stay at one of our suggested hotels as they are all within a 10-15 minute drive to the venue.

Do you have a hotel block?

As hotel blocks are not as common in this area of France, and there are so many different hotel options in the area, we opted to not have a hotel block. Please see the suggested hotels here.

What is the dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is Black-Tie Optional.

We ask that men wear a tuxedo or dark-colored suit and tie. For women, floor-length evening gowns are encouraged but a mid-length dress is also appropriate.

Are there other wedding events I’m invited to?

Yes! We will be hosting a cocktail party to welcome everyone to Champagne the evening before our wedding. More details to follow after formal invitations are sent.

Any there any other special attire notes we should know?

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on the château’s grounds which may prove difficult for a stiletto heel. The reception and dancing will take place in the cellar which could be chilly in the evening- if you tend to run cold, we recommend bringing a wrap.

The dress code for Friday’s Welcome Party is cocktail attire.
